I feel so left behind

Rating:
(votes: 0)

I graduated from nursing school and pass the licensure exam late 2007. It was of the same year that my dad died.

I decided to apply in a call center to support my family and set aside my plans for a head start in the nursing field . It took me 3 years to run out of my work to get back on track.

I thought i will be relieved with the feeling that finally I can pursue my life long dream but fear haunts me, for I never know how to begin in the first place. I fear that I may not be accepted if if a prospective employer would see that I am not a fresh grad nor an experienced nurse.

I fear that I might not give the care and safety my patients deserve.

I feel so left behind. I hope that you guys can give me some advice on what topics do i need to brush up on and prioritize.

Thanks in advance. Last edit by fairynurse08 on Dec 21, '10
