Nurses Advocate

Hello, I have been nursing for over twelve years and out of all this time I may have run across maybe one person who truly had the nurses back. I have applied to the FNP program and have worked on different floors in the hospital as well as being a travel nurse for a minute. What really want to do is something pertaining to being a nurses advocate. What job would that entail? Someone please help me out. I am not happy doing what I'm doing but I would love something in this field if only I could figure it out. Thanks.
