New Grad Job Question: What is a Physician Assistant Clinical Services unit?

Hello everyone,

I have a job interview in a "medicine annex" unit of a hospital. The recruiter described it as a Physician Assistant Clinical Services unit. But that was all. Is anyone familiar with this type of unit???????????? Is it med-surg or some unit that trains PAs? I can't find anything on Google.

I would really appreciate any advice. I expect to be asked why I want to work on this unit and I don't really know what kind of unit this is.
It sounds like a unit that has PAs round instead of doctors? Maybe like an outpt clinic type setting? I admit ive never heard of it either. Maybe someone here knows.
I agree. Sounds like a unit where the primary care is PA's. Possibly a lower acquity level unit?
