Can a RN work as a CNA or LPN?

I am having trouble finding work as an RN because I only have 6 months experience. Can I work as a CNA or LPN? I really need to work. Right now I don't care what the job is.
Check with your Board of Nursing for specifics. In TX, licensed nurses are always accountable for practicing according to their own scope of licensure. So, no matter what level of patient care job an RN accepts, he/she would be expected to adhere to RN standards of practice.
Comment:
This seems unfair. Does this happen to other licensed employees or professionals. Is an engineer held accountable for engineering if working in construction site? I think Registered Nurses get the short end of the stick on this, especially in this employment market.
