Personal Statement and Essay Questions

Hi Everyone!

I am in the process of applying to graduate school and one of the schools on my list requires two essay questions. At the end of the application, I am given the option to attach any supporting documents, including a personal statement if I'd like. Is it necessary to write a separate personal statement if the essay questions specifically ask about your goals, interest in the program, etc?
