Chicago hospitals: collegiate programs so I can work while I get my RN license

Hi. I keep hearing bits and pieces about collegiate programs. I am currently in a nursing program and am wondering:

1. What exactly a collegiate program is. All I keep hearing is that the hospital will allow you to work (I think as a CNA) after the first semester of RN school. Is there anything else to it?

2. What hospitals have this program.
