Aspiring nurse needing advice!

Hello all I am in need of some serious help. I am 26 and have JUST NOW made my decision as to what I wish to do for the rest of my life. NURSING. I live in Louisville, KY but I am willing to venture wherever the best opportunities are. I am willing to venture anywhere in the world. My dillema is trying to figure out exactly how I am able to get my college paid for/mostly paid for and how I can enroll full time without having to work full time. Money is most certainly the issue as I have very little of it. Once I have a plan in mind, I will then be able to put it into motion. I hope you can assist me Thank you
Actually, the less money you have, the more likely you are to get money to go to school. When I started school, I didn't have a job or even a place to live. The first semester was really hard because I had to scrape together money for gas, living expenses, etc until my first financial aid check came, then I was able to pay up my expenses for 6 mos. I live off of my financial aid and pay all my bills and expenses 6 mos at a time and now things are great. I applied for a scholarship and it was so much easier to get than I thought! I also applied and recieve WIA (helps with books and tuition), I get a student loan and also two grants. So I have plenty of money to help me get through school and less money that I have to pay back when I am done, even though what I have to pay back will be totally worth it, because I will make more in one year than I will owe for my education. First things first, apply for financial aid, then ask the financial aid office how to apply for a scholarship. Then find your local WIA office if you have one and apply for that. The grants will come automatically based on your income when you apply for your student loans. Just apply for everything you can, and hang in there, the first semester may be hard until you get things rolling but it gets better and it will be totally worth it!
Well short of having a rich aunt or uncle you may find that you will have to pay for this one yourself.Most nursing students end up taking out a loan plus working a bit here and there to make ends meet.
