Details on Physical for New Hire ProcessRating: (votes: 4) I finally got my job offer and my official wage amount which is more than I expected for the area I live. Today, I received my email with all the necessary paperwork to fill out and bring in. Thursday I have my Physical and Drug Screen. I was curious on what exactly is going to happen during the Physical (this is for a Unit Clerk position) and if this is something you usually get paid for during the time you are there because it sounds like it will be about 2 hours or so with doing the Physical, drug screen, and HR department? I am also getting my picture taken for the badge. I am so excited for this even if it is just a PRN position at the moment and all I can do is hope they have a full-time/part-time with guaranteed hours open up. I want to be able to quit my current at home Transcription job and start working at the hospital full-time. Thank you all for your help. I hope to become a great unit clerk and not the kind nurses do not like ![]() Quote from ktmt24Hi All!I finally got my job offer and my official wage amount which is more than I expected for the area I live.
