Job dilemma-shaky business

So,I've been working since Jan and my work has been sending nurses home early lately and cutting our working hours from 36 hrs to 30 hrs per week because of low census-less and lesser admission.people are also guessing that it might get shut down near in the future if the business kept going like this. Some employees are quitting and moving to another job because of this. And I recently found a new full time job openning near my area and the place is five-star rated facility.I used to apply for PRN position a couple of times and they would only have full time position then. So,i kept on checking their website if there could be opening for PRN which never seemed to occur but noted that they have this night shift full time openning almost every 3 weeks. And it made me think if the place is stressful enough to not being able to keep its employee. So,i asked my coworker who is working already there as PRN and he told me that it is more stressful but more stable and better pay-check,than my work place.I dont wanna make a mistake and i can't decide if i should choose that job over my current ones.Could anybody help me decide with this? Thanks!! I would take the new job over getting sent home early. What's to say that they decide to get rid of one or more employees because they get tired of sending people home early? Go where you have been told it is more stable.

I round take the stable job over losing money at the old job. Maybe you can stay PRN at the old job?Sent from my iPhone using allnurses.com

Quote from newgraduategalThanks you guys for ur words of advice.I went up there ,filling out my application today and got interviewed right away.My interviewer told that it would take at least 5 business days to hear back from them.Crossing my fingers and hoping that i will get hired.i m really tired of being sent home early.

If they are sending people home early and cutting hours, sooner or later they will start laying people off, especially people like you who are not tenured. If you can get another position, go!

Another question to ask is why people leave the other place so fast. Why the high turn over rate?
