Agency work?

What can a CNA expect working for a staffing agency?

I am starting nursing school and I need a job that will work around my crazy school schedule and this seems like it might work? I just really don't know what to expect?

What kind of pay, hours, ect...?

They say they staff home health, hospitals, nursing homes, ect...
Hi. I can try to help a little with this question, though I am not totally sure.I work at an agency as an RN, so I'm not sure how the pay is for a CNA, but I'll go with what I do know. With what I have seen agency seems to pay a little higher then nursing homes (at least the agency I work for pays more then the nursing homes around here.)They do send you where ever you are needed. I have gone to nursing homes and hospice right now (mainly because of my experience level); but they do send you out to hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, and other places. Some agencies are with doctor offices, so there is a possibility of being put there too.If you think you can handle work and school- then I would say go for it. Agency is almost always willing to work with your schedule. And it would be one that you can have odd shifts work out.
