Peer interview!Rating: (votes: 0) I am a nursing student and just completed an interview for a CNA position at University of Louisville. It is on the Bone Marrow Transplant/ ICU unit from 7p-7a. I did well with the unit manager and she said the next step is a peer interview. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what questions I should ask in the peer interview. I've never worked with bone marrow patients any not sure exactly what to expect. Thanks, I think focus on you ability to work as a team, work hard and learn from your peers. Good luck! Comment:
I just had an interview on Tuesday, during which I had a peer interview with two of the RNs on the floor. It was very laid back, they did most of the talking, giving me more details on how it is to work on that floor, how the nurses function as a team, basically the stuff that HR and the nurse manager won't tell you. I thought it was a great way to get to know some of your prospective co-workers. Of course they answered my questions, but it was just a friendly chat, not a technical discussion. that was my experience, may be different at other places. GOOD LUCK!
