Really need a Help."citation"

My friend just told me this so I am trying to help her. Couple years ago she submit some papers to some place when she apply for job and she was going through divorce a she made the stupid mistake she submit the TB skin test results and the test was never done. So when they confirm the results they were not the right one and this place send her paper work to LVN board. Now after few months later some one came to her door and show her all the paper work and she admit that she made that mistake which was her stupidity. she is a great nurse and now she have receive the citation from board and they are asking her to pay 1000 dollars for her mistake she is not a TB positive she have been always negative no patient is hurt or anything and she have to pay the amount which she cannot afford. So please tell me how she can get out of this.I am just trying to help this single mom with three kids and no support.

In some states they allow people to make payments for such things...I know my state does. I have a friend who didn't renew her CNA and she got fined for working two years without appropriate documentation. It isn't a lot of fun, but it is better than some other things the board could do.

She lied. She got caught. Now she has to accept the punishment. As someone else said, she might be able to work out a payment to make payments over time. If not, and you really want to help her ... help her earn the money to pay her fine.Perhaps you could baby sit for her kids for free while she works a few extra shifts to earn the money.
