Chances of getting job in clinic after graduation? Previous h/c experience important?

Hello! How many of you wanted to work in a clinic after graduation? Why? What are my chances of getting hired in a clinic after graduation, and is CNA or previous healthcare experience important in this are? Just curious.
I wanted to work in a clinic right after graduation, but put in a few years of med/surg just to get the experience. After two years of that, I was hired as an RN in a private pediatric clinic. I loved the job - definitely wasn't as stressful as the hospital and the hours were much, much better (no nights, weekends or holidays!) but I made significantly less money and had very few benefits. Many offices are only hiring Medical Assistants or at the most an LPN since they don't have to pay them as much. I think previous health care experience would definitely help you in the long run, but as with any nursing job, it will just depend on what's available when you begin your search. Good luck!
