LVN bridge to RN

Hi,
I've been looking into applying to Pacific College or Stanbridge College for their LVN Program. Im concerned the courses will no bridge to any RN programs? Does anyone know if either of these schools will be ok?
Generally with a private trade school, the classes don't transfer. I went to Concorde for my LVN but have to take all my pre-reqs for an RN. I'f you want to go the LVN-RN route, I'd try for a CC over a private school.

Your LVN license will transfer for the bridge, but on top of that, you will need to take the pre-requisite classes(anatomy, physiology, microbiology, and sometimes chemistry) at a community college or a university. They do teach some anatomy and physiology into these programs but they don't count for any credits.

Do yourself a favor. Look in your area the job prospects for an LVN/LPN? Is it worth what you will pay for a private school? Plus you will more than likely have to retake alot of prereq's anyhow. Get into a CC and get taking those classes you will finish before you realize and have saved yourself a ton of time and money. Job's for RN's are tough the same for LVN's....But much more opportunity with your RN..good luck.

Thank you for you response. What was your experience at Concord? What was the pass rate/pecentage in your class? Did you feel recieved good clinical training?
