Question about refresher course?....

1 I am going to be taking the refresher course to update my skills because it has been a few years since i graduated nursing school. But i have an active license. Is it possible to be enrolled in the refresher course and "work" as an RN at the same time? Or is it advisable to do both at the same time?

As long as you have an active license, there is nothing to legally prevent you from taking a refresher course while working as an RN. Whether or not the program would allow it may be another matter. They may not want to take up a seat with a candidate who doesn't need the course.But why would you do so? If you are able to obtain gainful employment in nursing, the refresher course would be unnecessary.

If you are able to get a job as a nurse you more than likely do not need the refresher. IT may be a waste of time and money, but that is only my opinion.
