Will the "free market" fix it?Rating: (votes: 0) Right now nursing programs just keep popping up almost lilke rabbits. Do you think the free market correct itself and the amount of nursing schools actually go down? And will websites like yahoo ever stop saying: "Nursing is recession proof, excellent starting salary, any job you want!". Honestly I get so mad when I read that. And the sheer amount of people that come of of nursing programs is staggering. I think that cutting nursing staff to increase profits is a concept that's on borrowed time. Let there be a high profile court case, or lawyers start advertising "Wait more than 5 minutes in pain because your nurse was busy elsewhere?" and suddenly things will change. The healthcare system is making it all about money, so the lawyers are acting as checks and balances by doing the same thing!Why did New Jersey end up with toxic waste dumps and New York with all the lawyers?
