Possibly a good move in life?Rating: (votes: 0) The Navy has nurse candidate programs. It is really nice because they offer grants and stipends. I would take that route - that will get you right to goal at a faster rate if a nursing career is your goal. I'm sure if the Navy and Air Force has nurses, they have nurse assistants. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Good Luck. Comment:
I am pretty sure they only take BSN prepared nurses. I interviewed for both after graduation and that was the first question both branches asked. I would DEFINITELY call a recruiter though, just to ask.

Thank you all for the advice. I have often wondered how we can put a combi-tube in, start a EJ and nurses are not able to do that. You guys had more training and more practice that ENT's do any day. That being said I realize my scope is going to shift drastically. While I will be able to do things I have never done before, I won't be able to do some things I take for granted!! Again thank you so much!!Jenn
