Do you trust electronic implant logs?

Hi everyone,

We're researching the ways in which OR Nurses document implants (like total joints, hips, screws...). We have heard that nobody trusts the electronic implant logs... is this true? Why/why not?

What method for documenting the use of implants and devices do you use? Paper chart, electronic, barcode, all or none--- tell us about your thoughts and experiences of these documentation methods.
