Pedal Pulses

I should know this, but I am pulling a blank. I'm actually embarrassed to ask this. Do pedal pulses include the dorsalis pedis pulse and the posterior tibial? Or is this another pulse all by itself (I'm pretty sure not)? My new job has a place to chart all three. I used to just check the doralis and posterior tibial. Note: not a futureRN anymore!
I'm not sure I have a definitive answer, but since pedal means feet, I suspect it means both. Since they are both very different, I have always done them separately. You can have 3+ DP's and not be able to find the PT, so if you are already checking, why not do both.
