Questions for labour and delivery nurses!!!

Hi, I'm Yvonne. I have an intrapartum lab simulation on Monday!

I would like to ask those who are in the hospital in labour and delivery nurse positions.

Having this discussion is a part of my grade, so please everybody get in on this!
I just want to know any tips or thoughts about being a labour and delivery nurse.

Can you tell me how the assessment process is done for the intrapartum period, especially during the second phase of labour? How do you feel when you are caring for the woman delivering her baby?
