What does this mean ? When you checked you name on Board of nursing ..your name is there as a registered nurse .But there is no license number . Does it means someone fail the NCLEX exam or what does that mean ?
There is also an issuing date .
Did you just take your boards?

Comment:
nope . i am checking for friend. She just did .

On my state, your name gets listed as either CNA, RN, or LPN when trying to verify. Then when you click on the title, it will either say "not issued" or have a license/cert number. This is because once you apply and take the test, your name shows up to acknowledge applying, then after passing and having a license approved, a number will show up. What you're seeing is likely similar. Your friends name is showing because they applied for a license but they are not actually licensed until a number is posted.
