When can you apply for a temporary license ?
With your state's Board of Nursing.

Depends on the state. The best bet is to check with the BON. Generally, you can only apply for a temporary license when completing a nursing program or when moving to a new state. Valid only until taking NCLEX or permanent license is issued.
