Starting to think there should be some limits...

16 ....on what a new AN member can do. For instance, you must be a member for 6 months before you're able to post a question. The homework issue is really getting out of hand!

Students don't even beat around the the bush or try to camouflage what they're doing. They just flat-out demand homework answers. Somewhere, it must be written that AN.com is the place to get your homework done.
I've said this before and I'll say it again: I think new members should have to read an informational article about the good ole PVT and take/pass a quiz about it before posting yet ANOTHER question that has doubtlessly been answered countless times prior. A tutorial on the use of the search function might also be beneficial.

I'd even give over all my royalties for the "READ THIS" and "PVT QUESTIONS?" articles...oh, wait...I don't HAVE any royalties, lol....Still, wish they would read them BEFORE posting the same questions the person asked on the same thread that day.

And the "can I interview a nurse?" question.I'm fairly new, too, but come ON people.

I'm sure it gets very annoying. I'm really new here and even I see the same posts over and over and think "really?!" But common sense is not too common. Making people read something first will be of no help either as people will just click "yes I read it" without actually having done so! So just carry on with the head shaking and skip over those threads

There should also be a limit to how many self-righteous, annoyingly petty threads you can start..

On the many sites where I participate, a good deal of new members join only to post their problem or question, then as soon as they get an answer, they are never seen again. They seemingly never bother to do a search to find the six times their problem was previously discussed. They contribute absolutely nothing else. It can be very frustrating for those who want to see a site grow and be useful.

Even if they don't, we seem to catch on pretty quickly. So many times the very first reply is "Is this a homework question?"And you posters know who you are!
