new grad RN jobs in Dallas-Fortworth areaRating: (votes: 1) I am finishing up my accelerated RN year at UCSF in CA. I need to relocate to the Dallas-Fortworth, TX area due to my husband's work, so I will not be able to complete my Oncology Master's portion of my degree. I will be looking in the fall of 2013 for a new grad position or some sort of per diem work in the area. My specialty area of interest is adult and pediatric oncology, but I am open to other fields if necessary. I would very much appreciate any guidance you can offer in terms of good hospitals, interview timing and process, what positions I will be eligible for with a new RN license, etc. With gratitude. If you're in an accelerated program, and won't be able to complete the 'Masters portion', what degree will you have at the end? If you don't have a BSN, you're going to have a great deal of difficulty getting a job in a DFW hospital. This is a huge geographic area, so you may want to narrow your search based on where you are going to be living. You may have better luck in outlying communities. |
