Insight to life as an FNP or Midwife

Hello Everyone,
I'm currently in the process for trying to decide what I want to go back to school for. I currently have worked as an RN for 2 years in both postpartum and antepartum. I've crosstrained to L&D and to the NICU. I was wondering if anyone out there can provide me with the details of what it is like to be a Family Nurse Practitioner or Midwife. Any pointers would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
