Salary and career options for an RN with MS in psychologyRating: (votes: 0) Sorry, but an RN with a Masters in Psychology = An RN. Non-nursing degrees do not add any value for entry-level or bedside nursing jobs because these roles are focused on providing nursing care. The only exception - Since you have some clinical practice associated with your psych degree, it may help you get a job in behavioral health. Comment: Down the road, you might find you're interested in becoming a psych NP.Comment: Thank you for the replies. I've been doing a bit of research and have seen several programs that I can get into once I complete my RN (RN to MSN). I will certainly look at all my options but I do believe Psych NP is definitely my best route. Again, thank you for the advice.
