I am a Registered Nurse with 4+ years of experience, 3 of which were Med/Surg, the rest were spent caring for handicapped individuals. My question: which job in which state has the highest income potential? I've heard that Florida is desperate for RN's with Med/Surg experience, but the cost of living is to high. I've also heard Hawaii pays well with a decent cost of living, but has a lengthy hiring process. And which field pays more than another? If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be grateful. I don't care where the location is, so long as it's still in America.
I'd recommend Northern California. They have high pay and mandated patient ratios plus the cost of living is reasonable in the suburbs.
