At a Cross Roads

Hello all,
it's been years since I have posted a message on this site; but I feel this is a great venue to get advice. I am at a cross road with my career; can anyone share how they knew they were in the right nursing specialty. I would like to try a new area but my desire is more for non-clinical roles but the areas with a lot of job openings are clinical roles.

In my opinion I think we have all been there and it's pretty normal to sometimes look beyond what seems to be our chosen path. Sometimes venturing outside that path is the best way to find out. I think that to a degree the basics still apply no matter what specialty you choose as a bedside manner is first and foremost, if you have that then your miles ahead already.
