Jobs in Nassau County NY with an AA

Hi,

I wanted to know your experience with getting a job right after graduating with your associates in Nassau County. I'm in my 30's and I have a friend who handles recruiting at NSLIJ and she advised me to get my bachelor's first. North Shore hospitals are not hiring nurses with an associates at all. The nurses with an AA are required to complete their bachelor's within a certain time if not they will be fired.

What has been your experience recently? And what kind of salary can I expect as a first year nurse in Long Island.
