As long as both schools have similar pass rates for nCLEX and good reputations. It'd be a bonus to see how a facility operates from the inside. Comment: This is VERY good advice. In my part of the country, hospitals that hire new grads are inundated with applications. So their primary method of screening is to give priority to those who actually did clinical rotations in the facility. In addition, these local students are also invited to take advantage of 'early application' opportunities for formal transition programs (internship, residency, etc) so there are usually few/no slots for external applicants.Best of luck to you on your educational journey!
