MSN decision

Hello everyone. I am currently an associate degree RN. I want to get my MSN but I am not sure exactly what I want to do yet. I think I want to be a RNP, but I feel like once I am in the field more I may change my mind. Do people think I would be better off getting my masters anyway or should I just get my BSN for now until I am able to figure out what I want to do. Any advice would be helpful. I'm new to all this! The whole purpose and focus of graduate school is to become an expert at something -- the thing you want to specialize in. If you don't know what field you want to study yet, then you are not ready for graduate school.I support people going ADN to MSN if they have nursing experience and know what their career interests are. But if you are not at that point yet in your career ... then it would be best for you to get some experience and your BSN. Figure out "who you are as a nurse" and THEN invest in graduate school.
