i just checked salary.com and they stated the mean salary is 67,000 and in NY you will make atleast 74k i already knew this information before. But i just wanted to know if the salaries increase because of Obama or if salary.com is just updating their site.

What does Obama have to do with anything?And salary.com is not all that accurate.The other issue is the salary isn't that important...if you can't get a job after you graduate.

as long as im financially stable im ok i dont need a mansion or a lamborghini which is what people think they can get on a nurses salary.

That figure (which sounds high) for NY must be for a nurse working nights in the city. The salary has nothing to do with Obama, its the cost of living in NY that keeps the salaries up. Don't believe everything you read!
