AD patients - psychiatric issues

Recently, I have been wondering why there don't seem to be more proactive attempts by nurses to identify mental health issues in those with Alzheimer's disease.

Do you find this to be true as well? Or is it something that is more related to one's setting?

Do you think some more structure/guidance with regard to screening for depression, etc. would be helpful or tedious/counterproductive for nurses?
