Cath Lab RNs

i just started in Tele but i can't help but think the cath lab seems like a cool place to one day end up. as a student i observed for one day there so i was able to see a little bit, but from someone who actually does this or has done it, what are the duties/ usual days like in the Cath Lab for the RN?
It can be rewarding and it can be on-the-edge (some procedures can cause reactions that will test your skills). Assuming you have mastered ACLS and orientation in the cath lab itself is adequate and you are comfortable with your training, you should enjoy it.Good luck and let us know how it goes....
