Pediatric/neonatal nurses in Seattle?

Hello, I'm considering nursing school and am very interested in volunteering with or shadowing a pediatric or neonatal nurse in Seattle. What's the best way for me to get my foot in the door? Can anyone help?

Have you taken a look at the Childrens hospital website? I am pretty sure they have instructions/opening for volunteering. Also, by foot in the door, if you are talking about building connections to get a job after you graduate, I suggest doing CNA course and looking for a job in peds or neonatal specialized floors.
