2 This happens to me every so often and it happened again today. What would you do?

I am a PACU nurse and we do computer charting. After the patient arrives and gets hooked up to monitors, I make an initial assessment, check breathing, dressing etc.

Here's my story, I have been working at this LTC facility for 8+ yrs (3 yrs as an LPN & 5 as a CNA), so I work 80 hrs biweekly on 11-7 shift. I have 60 residents all to myself...

I just landed a position in a ED, orientation starts in a week and they just told me I need my ACLS and PALS before starting then

Ive checked online and have found some hospitals that provide these classes but Im hoping I can find other info

just wondering if Dopamine is infiltrated, how long it takes for the site to appear necrotic? It has been 7 hours, the site is not discolored and pt has no pain, but I heard it takes 24 hours. just worried. the site is bruised, but bruise did present

I see a lot of posts where people are saying they are caring for up to 28 acute care patients with 1 RN, 1 LPN and 1 aid. What states do this in acute care? I live in California which is the land of safe ratios for acute care!
