Applying for a job at Virginia Hospital CenterHi, I applied at VHC, they called me yesterday, i was surprised by their call and I think I didnt do well on the phone, before gheir phone call, I wasnt able to apply for another RN position till ghe day after their phone call. Does this mean I was rLooking for RN JOBI am foreign graduated Nurse with BSN and Valid RN license as well as work permit. I have been searching for job in columbus ohio for almost 2 months. I am really perplexed as I get no response at all. Though I have couple of years experience in my nIs there really a Nursing shortage or is it just hype ?Is there a Nursing shortage in your area or is there an over abundance of Nurses in your area?In northern Utah (Provo, SLC, Ogden...) we have an huge over abundance of Nurses. A manager friend said for every position she posts as open, she receives RN to Paramedicine?I like my job, I do. However, when I started in Cards, I thought the floor was more of a CCU or something. Turns out it's a glorified Med/Surg floor. Which is fine, I like it and I've learned things.
