New Year's Resolutions For NursesRating: (votes: 0) Comment:
Nice article. I do number 2 (not that number 2) all the time. I love to change up my brain and will spend hours fiddling with microsoft word tables. Such a waste of time.

This is the first time in ten years that I've made a New Year's Resolution. My resolution this year is to not check my work email from home and to not respond to any of the emails my boss sends out. Nothing good ever comes from either and I'm sick of my work affecting my mental health... especially on my days off. I'm there three days a week and that's it.

I'm with you. I'm semi-retired and I want to work agency three or four days a month. I get tweets, text, beeps, and emails almost every day. Three days a month. Is it that hard to understand? Sometimes with this agency, I get two people sending me the same email.

My resolution is to stop pretending to be less than I am so that people around me can feel better about themselves!

I definitely agree with #4, and I have started yesterday to take care of it! Enough is enough, time to take care of me!Also:Remain away from the drama at work, not participate in petit nonsense non productive gossip!Get my orthopedic certification, and start my MSN.Stand my ground and not let people put me down!

This is probably the first year I HAVEN'T made a new years resolution. I can, however relate to all of yours. I guess my resolution is to just take each day as it comes, make the best of it, learn from mistakes, and forge ahead - try to always be happy for what I have, because so many have much less, and hope that I pick the right lottery numbers at least once in the next year!
