Working in a nursing home

I am an LPN and have transitioned into the RN program scheduled to graduate in May. I have been offered a full time management position at the skilled nursing facility I worked at as an LPN. The position will be in admissions and discharge planning. I wanted to ask experienced nurses do you feel like this choice would compromise the education I have worked so hard for? I like were I work but am afraid of losing my skills. Would I ever be able to go back and get the experience to work on the floor in a hospital?
