Maybe it's just a boring job. Sometimes we need a little adrenaline here and there to change things up ever so often. The worst thing for me anyways, is being bored with my job.

Maybe he doesn't want the extra responsibility and stress that comes with the new position. Some jobs just aren't worth the $$.

These are the ONLY reasons he is not going to take this position...I understand being anxious about being away from home, family but he will come home over the weekend and this is most likely the only time he will have to go out of his area.
