My name is Amanda Rosenkranz. I am a PhD candidate in Nursing at George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia. I am completing my dissertation research. It examines the relationship between job characteristics, values and intent to leave a job or nursing in general. The knowledge gained from the survey results may lead to improvements in the work environment. It is also the hope that the results will lead to effective retention strategies.

I found many of your two sentence statements to represent differing viewpoints. Meaning- I might answer the first statement one way and the second the other. This leaves a large area for discrepancy.
