primary care?Rating: (votes: 0) I mean, on the floor - not in the ICU where I know RNs often do primary care. Last edit by thesundowner on Jun 5, '12 : Reason: wanted to clarify question My floor has aids but I float to 2 other floor that have none.Usually I have 5-6 patients, depending on the census. It's fine. It's what I worked with from the time I left school. It really teachs you time management.I do like the fact that I can do all the assessing, I don't have to ask someone else the details about their voiding or skin.Even my regular floor we still do cares, the aids aren't expected to do it all. Comment:
I have a friend who works on a floor with no techs. When I worked in the hospital, we had aides but I felt like I did 99% of the care anyway...
