Nursing schedules

What are all the different types of schedules a nurse can work?
Typical shifts in a hospital: 7-3, 3-11, 11-7. Different weekend requirements for each hospital. Some hospitals have 12's: 7a-7p and 7p-7a are typical I think. Some nurses only work weekend 12-hour shifts and get paid for 40 hours (Baylor shifts)Managers typically work 8 to 5 at places I've worked at. Many specialty nurses like our wound team only work 8 to 5, Monday to Friday as well.

schedules i am aware of at my hospital: 7-3, 3-11, 11-7, 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, 11p-11a, 3p-3a, 3a-3p, 9a-7p.some office jobs might be 9-5 or 8-4 m-f... it differs a lot from facility to facility...

The other thing to consider is not only the hours, but the days. For example, I have not - in the past ten years - had two consecutive weeks with the same days off. I work three twelve hour night shifts per week, and my weekend committment is one weekend per month. Some places require every other weekend.
