Where to buy a nursing lab kit

Hi: I've been a paperwork nurse for several years now. I am taking a job in August, teaching a CNA II course. Before I start teaching, I want to make double sure I'm still performing sterile procedures correctly and I'm interested in purchasing a nursing lab kit. Remember way back when we took Nursing 101? A kit with the foley cathether practice supplies, sterile gloves and dressings, trach care supplies, wound care practice. Where can I buy one of these? I'm sure I can get it online, but I don't know what the company would be. Can someone educate me please?
I don't know of any companies selling the nurse kits, but I suggest you contact any nursing/vocational school in your area & ask them what supplier they use for student nurse kits. Once you find out the name of the supplier, tell them you're a student & they should offer you a discounted price.

I agree with Nurse Kissy. Try the local community college's bookstore. I don't know if they would even sell something like that online.

We bought a kit that was put together by our school. We bought it at the bookstore. You could only get it if you were on a list though...no one off the street. Maybe if you contact a local community college they would help you out for a fee or put you in contact with their supplier.

Call your hospital and see if they will donate you a few things! Maybe a foley kit that was opened and not used or something like that.

Someone not long ago posted a similar question. I can't remember the link that was given, but do remember the company name they bought the kit from so I googled them and you can find a kit here. Hope it helpshttp://www.gracetrainingsupply.com/standard_kit.htm

Try EBAY you would not believe the hospital supplies they have for sale.

Quote from AnisettesCrike! That site is awesome. I haven't been a student in about 25 years, but I feel a sudden urge to buy that skeleton, in fact the only thing stopping me is the price tag. And no, I'm actually not kidding.
