Voice-activated electronic documentation, similar to dictation systems used by providers.

Second the dictation system! Also, A/V documentation systems that can be triggered by the clinician to record patient interventions while they are being performed.Or at least EHR systems that actually reflect how nursing is delivered.. no more separate entries & duplication of information for every data silo in the organization. Digital readouts on all fluid collection/drainage apparatus - no more guesswork or decanting into measuring devices. Ability to customize alarms (like your cell phone) so that you can easily distinguish which thingamajig is beeping now.
