Continuing Education credits (NC)

I visited one of the satellite hospitals where I work, and they offer CE's for staff meetings. The staff meeting is about 30 minutes, then they have a speaker come in for an hour and it's a CE of 1 hour. I was wondering how they do that. My branch does not offer CEs and has nothing like this in place.

If you were going to try to implement this, where would you start or who would you talk to?

I checked the BON website but there doesn't seem to be anything for this type of CE available. We have all kinds of education directors at work, would they be who I would talk to?
