nursing report

I am trying to revamp change of shift report. Would love to have any info about your method of change of shift report--- problems and how you handled them; success--what did you do? Particularly interested in bedside report. Thanks!! Okierosie
Are you having problems with giving report or trying to find a better way to give report? Or have you noticed problems amongst staff during report?

Report time has been getting more and more chaotic with little pertinent info handed off. We tried bedside report 2 years ago but lack of interest and follow through by management let it die on the vine. Now, it is everyone for themselves. I have a directive from management to come up with a more workable plan.
