Geographic Care

My unit is currently in the process of making the push to geographic care ...

Does anyone have a solid experience where their hospital moved to geographic care and it worked in their favor? Did it increase patient satisfaction? Did it increase patient outcomes? Our unit educator has provided much detailed EBP studies linking an increase in these factors, however the change on the unit has been palpable, even for someone that is considered "fresh meat."

I'm looking to hear other experiences!
