Hi everyone!
so I was recently hired on as a night shift nurse at an assisted living and memory care facility. It's been a long rough road tiring to find a nursing job here in California so I'm beyond excited. However, I am aware that this type of facility has resident who do not require as much medical attention as a skilled nursing or hospital setting. So I'm curious for anyone who has worked or works in an assisted living facility, what your experience has been like there. What are your main duties? What are some pros and cons and any advice you may have for a new grad going in to the night shift and how to stay actively busy during downtime? Thanks so much
