RN's what was your occupation while in nursing school?Rating: (votes: 0) Sounds good if they can work around your school schedule; it might also give you that elusive foot in the door. I waited tables through LPN school, and when I went back for my ADN program I did home health visits in the daytime and had classes in the evenings. Worked out well. Comment:
I was a LVN during RN school, I was a ward clerk when I was in LVN school.

Since you guys are RNs do the can all seem like a smart move for $700. I'm not rich and I'm making crap on cna 1 pay. I was hoping cna ll would boost my pay and help me through nursing school. I don't have kids but I have my niece that I'm raising - with no help so yeah kids are kinda expensive. I heard can Los start out $12- $16 hr. Any feedback would be helpful!

@meanmaryjean did you ever work at a LTCF while an LPN, I feel like that's the only choice if I tale LPN and I don't want to work at anymore LTCF.
